Tour For Any Short Wheelbase Vehicles
Basecamp Adventure Tours are for short wheelbase 4WD vehicles – Jeeps, Land Rovers, Toyotas, etc. Basecamp-style tours return to the same campsite or RV park each night after a day of off-roading. The trails used on basecamp-style tours are a bit challenging, thus the need for a short wheelbase 4WD vehicle. Most stock short wheelbase vehicles will do well on these tours. Front and rear frame-mounted recovery points, a small suspension lift, larger than stock tires, and rock rails or sliders are an advantage. As of this time, one basecamp adventure tour is offered in 2022. More tours of this type may be added as the year progresses.
Death Valley Miner's Cabin Tour Description
Three days of exploring the largest National Park in the lower 48 States. Over 80-percent of this beautiful park can’t be seen from the pavement – you have to venture off-road. We will visit several old miner's cabins (shhhh... secret locations), challenge our vehicles on some of the park's more narrower and rocky trails, and travel to some of the park's iconic locations. During this tour you will visit several Adopt-A-Cabin structures. So exciting. The basecamp for this tour will either be Panamint Springs Resort or Stovepipe Wells.
